Fundraising

The simple truth about running a charity as active as the Chernobyl Children's Life Line is that we are continually fund raising to finance the childrens visits. It costs over £350 in air fares and UK taxes to get each child here and to pay for their activities here.

Fundraising can the committee announce the plans for the first half of this year, starting with a 5 mile sponsored walk on Sunday the 24th of Febuary 2008 starting at Steel Rigg car park just off the Military Road from 11am.

If you are free why not come along and join in the fun,  or if you are unable to come along look out for the photographs in the next newsletter. Please feel free to sponsor any of the committee at    http://justgiving.com/tynevalleylink5milewalk2008 remember all of the money raised goes to help this needy cause, so please if you can give generously.

The result of the Saathi Curry evening raised £125 + an additional £5 donation from Saathi's
